Hotel Indigo Dusseldorf
Hotel Indigo is a well-appointed Düsseldorf boutique hotel located in the Königsallee between the international Düsseldorf Exhibition and the city center. I had the pleasure of spending a few days in Düsseldorf with The Fairytale Traveler, at the boutique Hotel Indigo for an organized media visit with Visit Düsseldorf.
Düsseldorf Boutique Hotel
Apart from the amenities offered, there are many things to discover in the large and small neighborhoods. Both of which are very easily accessible. People interested in current fashion or inspired by unusual fashion will find many opportunities to explore a variety of trends in this so-called „fashion city“.
Small and large fashion stores, fashion agencies, cosmetic shops, jewelry designers, antique dealers, local specialties and bike shops are all around. The character of this fashion city is reflected in this hotel with murals and decor which represent famous fashion decades.
This was my first Düsseldorf boutique hotel experience, in fact it was my first visit to a boutique hotel period, which is why I was very excited and curious. I didn’t know what the experience would offer. I was pretty blown away by the level of service and attention to detail offered by the staff. I had wonderful stay. Fashion lovers should definitely visit as Düsseldorf provides a great location for all things fashion and street-style photos.
One thing I loved about Hotel Indigo was each room is different and every floor has its own style modeled after a specific fashion decade. Each decade is represented by the decor, furniture, color scheme and a giant photographic mural. I stayed on the fourth floor, where the 70’s were showcased. In my room was a large double bed. Directly opposite of the bed I had a flat screen TV. The TV was adjustable to accommodate where you were in the room and personal preference. In addition, were two chairs and an espresso machine.
The room also had a great shower and modern bathroom. All of the decor, such as lamps and artwork or photographs on the walls, was very stylish. What fascinated me most were the color combinations which provided such a pleasant atmosphere. The small details complemented the room and made it feel complete. All together it had the feeling of being in a photo shoot .
Service and breakfast
For me personally, the highest priority is courtesy toward the guests. I was in no way disappointed with this at the Hotel Indigo. The staff was very accommodating and friendly and always smiling. They helped us with any problems or questions we had. Also, they are fluent in the English language which was for helpful for The Fairytale Traveler.
The breakfast buffet is one of my favorite aspects of each hotel. I was pretty excited for Breakfast in the morning. Everything you look for in a good breakfast meal was found at the buffet. A variety of fresh rolls, different croissants, white and brown bread, sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, jam, salami, ham and various cheeses were offered. There was also cereal, yogurt, fruit, freshly squeezed orange juice, small delicious muffins and much more. All of this came with an amazing view of the hotel garden through beautiful large windows.
Dinner: I recommend having a go at dinner here as well. It’s convenient and the service and food are excellent.
I suggest a stay with this premiere Düsseldorf boutique hotel , Hotel Indigo. If you love fashion, trendy vibes and modern decor, along with exceptional service, location and the convenience of having breakfast nearby, you will love the Hotel Indigo.
